Below are some samples of sites with very different aims and audiences, to give you an idea of the scope that we deal with. Each of the following was built to a pre-decided specification, usually submitted by the client. During the design stage of any project we will make suggestions and provide ideas, but we will not overrule clients if they have firm design ideas. In essence, we will implement the design ideas that you have, even we don't agree with them.

TotalFrance.com is a complex series of dynamically-generated pages built 'on-the-fly' from information stored in various databases. It is constructed from a combination of pre-existing PHP-coded scripts and modules, tied together with our own code. Its purpose is to provide a wide range of information to the Francophile community.

DavidSpalton.com showcases the services of one of the most distinguished eye-surgeons in the UK. The site aims to provide information to educate and relax potential patients, whilst simultaneously projecting an image of reliability, respectability and competence.

SevernsideConsultants.com was a simple project in which we were asked to provide a website that was an 'on-screen' copy of this company's pre-existing brochure, together with an email contact form. No other requirements were specified or wanted.

Selman-Troytt.com is the home of The Jeremy Selman-Troytt Commemoration. This was one of the earlier sites that we built, back in 1997 or 1998. We were asked to give this site a 'mildly eccentric' and 'other-worldly' air as we constructed its numerous pages to house large quantities of 'Victorian' prose. In consequence, the navigation is not linear and there are out-of-the-way 'bonus' links for dedicated surfers.

This quirky and text-heavy site now welcomes around 40,000 visitors per year and has an extremely popular collection of unique postcards for a variety of (often very strange) occasions. We still maintain this site on behalf of the owner, dealing with technical issues and email correspondence.

KnowledgeGeneration.com - An aim of this website is to attract with its visual simplicity, based on strong colours. As the site's content concerns the implementation of abstract, and sometimes complex, academic analyses, the logical structure and simple navigation tools were designed to provide a clear contrast. The site is also designed to grow dynamically with the development of the underlying business - access-controlled collaborative workspaces, a virtual learning environment and online shopping facilities can be incorporated as needed.

Euro Van and Man is the site for the European Delivery services of EVS removals.

JanDuffy.com is the site of Duffy Consulting, which has a requirement to present its services to prospective clients but also wants to gather data from on-line surveys so that meaningful research can be undertaken.

HotelsForAirlines.com requested a site that was not only visually simple and easy to understand for visitors for whom English was a second language, but also specified that the site should be able to display and download quickly on a range of 'older' PCs often in use in third-world countries.

T K Consultants already had a web site but were unhappy with some aspects of its appearance and function. We were asked to 'make-over' its pages, making small changes to their formatting and design on the surface whilst simultaneously breaking them out of 'frames' in the HTML code from which the pages are constructed.

AllowChange.com had a very specific remit, and a very clear idea of how they wanted their site to look and function. In addition to incorporating sections which allowed for interactivity with visitors and members, the site had to be designed in such a way that new sections could be added when needed, and also that the owners could easily amend the pages themselves despite a limited knowledge of HTML.

La Petite Rouvadin wanted an 'online brochure' that would display the key selling points of their gite in a clean, simple way that would reflect the quality of service they provide to guests.

Les Bons Voisins felt they had outgrown the design of their previous site. They wanted a newly-designed, bi-lingual site that would not only provide information dynamically with regard to the locations of LBV Associates, but would also allow the site owners to self-administer all of the monthly maintenance work that they had formerly contracted out.

Vacation Normandy. Due to increasing numbers of French visitors, Vacation Normandy wanted a bilingual site to publicise and promote the accommodation, products and attractions of their working farm.

Learn Housing. An online teaching resource for 'blended learning'.
